What Information Does the App Collect?

Brainwave Beats collects non-personally-identifiable information to improve your experience and understand how the app is used. This includes:

• Device information — Device type, operating system version, and device identifiers used for analytics
• Usage data — Anonymous usage statistics such as feature usage frequency and session duration
• Crash logs — Diagnostic data collected when the app encounters errors, used to fix bugs and improve stability

This information is collected through third-party analytics services, specifically Firebase SDK (Google Analytics).

Audio Processing

All binaural beat and solfeggio frequency audio is generated locally on your device using AudioKit. No audio data is recorded, stored on servers, or transmitted to external services. Your listening sessions remain entirely private.

Local Data Storage

The following data is stored locally on your device and is never sent to our servers:

• Your saved custom presets and mixes
• Session history and weekly statistics
• App preferences and settings (volume levels, timer settings, app icon choice, etc.)
• Daily reminder preferences

Apple Health Integration

If you choose to enable Apple Health integration, Brainwave Beats may write session data (such as mindfulness minutes) to Apple Health on your device. This data is governed by Apple's privacy policies and is never transmitted to our servers. You can revoke Health access at any time in your device's Settings.

Third-Party Services

Brainwave Beats uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase SDK (Google Analytics) — For anonymous usage analytics and crash reporting. Google's privacy policy applies to data collected through this service.
• Apple App Store — For app distribution and in-app purchases. Apple's privacy policy governs transactions and account data.

When you share content to social platforms or other services, you provide information directly to those third parties. The manner in which third-party services use, store, and disclose your information is governed solely by the policies of such third parties.

Data Sharing

We do not rent or sell any of your personally-identifying information to anyone. We may disclose information only when:

• Necessary to protect the safety of users or the public

Children's Privacy

Brainwave Beats does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age.
